ADURA

Following the joint announcement in December 2024, Shell and Equinor are progressing toward the formation of Adura, which is expected to become operational on 1 December 2025, subject to regulatory and partner approvals.

This joint venture will consolidate Shell and Equinor UK offshore oil and gas assets and projects (including Jackdaw & Rosebank). 

Upon deal completion, the new IJV will be jointly owned by Equinor (50%) and Shell (50%).
