Global Offshore Wind Health & Safety Organisation

The Global Offshore Wind Health and Safety Organisation (the G+) is committed to promoting and maintaining the highest possible standards of health and safety throughout the lifecycle of offshore wind farms (OWFs) across the world.

The members are all owners and lead operators of OWFs. Members of the G+ are as follows: ScottishPower Renewables, E.ON, Ørsted, SSE, Statoil, Innogy, EDF ER, Engie, Vattenfall.

Since 2013, the G+ has published anonymised incident statistics from all member companies in an annual incident report. Areas of higher risk identified in the incident data form the evidence base for the G+ work programme. The G+ has produced Good Practice Guidance on Working at Height and Small Service Vessels and is working on guidance on Manual Handling and Ergonomics and Ladder Climbing.

The G+/ DROPS Reliable Securing booklet for Offshore Wind is now available for free download on the G+ website. Various translations are also available for download.
