Founded in 1966 as a joint venture between SONATRACH and SEDCO, ENAFOR became a wholly-owned subsidiary of SONATRACH in 2005.
With over 55 years of experience, ENAFOR has garnered a leading national and global reputation, operating on behalf of SONATRACH and its international partners.
As of 2023, the company boasts 51 active drilling rigs and employs 7,094 workers as of March 2024. Additionally, ENAFOR houses a drilling school and a training center accredited by IWCF for well control and well intervention, along with Infodrill instrumentation simulators and TDS breakdowns.
