BackChapters and Workgroups
DROPS is a global workgroup administered and facilitated under the supervision of a Global Steering Committee, based in Aberdeen. This Committee exercises overall management and direction of the workgroup.
A designated Secretary and Administrative Focal Point are appointed to deal with day-to-day DROPS activities.
Regional Chapters have been established in key locations worldwide, employing their own management and administration teams focused on regional events and working group activities.
Regional Chapters have full access to DROPS products, brand and identity for the purposes of promoting and improving dropped object prevention. The Global DROPS Workgroup assists the Regional Chapters in the development and communication of deliverables, products, lessons learned and best practice for dissemination worldwide.
